Grandpa Cars

Many people are surprised when they find out that we live right next door to Taylor's parents- sharing a backyard in fact.  But it really is great.  And even living that close, they're so busy that we rarely see them more than on Sunday nights for Family Dinner which is a tradition that we absolutely love.  We hang out and eat appetizers while his mom cooks, then eat and chat together and then someone does the dishes while Grams and or Grandpa gets some good playing time with the grandkids.  This summer Taylor's dad came home with a remote controlled car from one of his trips and that has been an almost weekly event since then.  Here are some picture finally.
The soccer cones were a new addition and the boys loved testing their driving skills as well as just their jumping skills.  Ethan is in truth a very good driver.
Miles is a bit of a spaz driver and is either really good or really bad and gives up and picks it up/drops it.  So Grandpa has to give him instructions each time.
Isaac is somewhat interested as is his way with all electronics.  Ethan and Miles are fully obsessed with the Wii, TV, the computer and everything else like that.  Isaac likes them sometimes but is surprisingly not that interested in them.

I love this one with Isaac hiding behind Grandpa like he can protect him from the tiny car chasing him.

Love the jump shot too!
Taylor took all the pictures with our new camera which is why there are so many fabulous shots and then when he got bored he tried out some of the new settings.

Pretty cool.  And a pretty fun evening together!
