Adventure School at Home

Miles finally got to have all his preschool friends over to our house the end of September.  He was thoroughly confused since he'd spent a week at each of their homes but not our yet.  He was pretty excited though.
I always have the kids start with Playdough.  It seems like a good gathering/calming activity.
Our week's focus was the letter A.  So I chose A is for Art and A is for Apples.  We painted twice and learned our colors.  We read about the alphabet and apples.  And we ate lots of apple things.  Here's all five in our cute group.  Miles, Wyatt, Enoch, Elizabeth, and Katherine.
We had plenty of free play time of course and the marble game seemed to be the biggest hit.
And since we were learning about apples we had to go outside to see our apple tree- even if it only currently produces crab apples.  We're told that if we hire someone to prune it properly it would grow proper apples but for now we just get really tiny yellowish apples.
I love this little group.  The kids all get along great and they're all so different in their own ways.
