Halloween Fun

Halloween this year was a multi-day party.  Thursday there were parties at school.  I'm Isaac's room mom this year so I got to be part of the fun.

And I stopped in to see Ethan.
And then Friday was a day of fun too.  First off to dad's work for trick-or-treating and lunch, and we brought along our neighbor just because.
First off to visit grandpa.  I'm so glad we get to live around family and have these wonderful people in my kid's lives.
And then it was off to trick-or-treat.  Taylor's work has a costume contest and some of the guys go all out.  Lego Batman was a hit with Ethan and our neighbor.
Isla... not so much.  She was truly freaked out by Lego Batman.
But then there was candy to distract her.
But every time we ran into him we had to quickly hide him.  He was THAT scary.

Uncle Clint/Bob Ross was a hit.
As was Olaf who Isla was fully obsessed with.
After lunch we took Miles to his preschool for his Halloween party.
And of course we couldn't pass up the 99cent happy meals.

And then our evening began with trick or treating at grams house.

And the neighborhood parade which we missed, but the dinner that we didn't.

And then of course there was trick-or-treating but that was too much fun for pictures.  These pictures I actually took Friday morning.
I really tried to convince Isla to be someone else other than Elsa for Halloween but she would hear nothing of that.  I'm going to let these adorable pictures speak for themselves.  I have cute, happy kids and a beautiful backyard in the fall and it really is a wonderful life.

YaYa

I will admit it:  we spoil this little girl.  But how can you blame us.  She's just the sweetest thing ever.  She LOVES to cuddle which we've never had before.
And she's just so cute cuddling her babies.
Honestly, she'll just come up and squeeze herself in next to me if she's feeling like she needs a cuddle.
And she's constantly happy and smiley.

And silly.

Taylor and I are not her only cuddle buddies.
And she's a normal messy 2 year old- obsessed with mac and cheese.
Like eat it with my hands obsessed.

Miles and Isla are my little morning buddies and I'm so glad they have each other.

This one is a berry fiend.  I have to hide any and all kinds of berries behind other food in the fridge or else I find her roaming the house stuffing them in her mouth.
And one of my favorite things about Isla is that she so obviously loves her brothers.  She follows them around, plays what they want to play, dresses up and fights right alongside them.
And at the same time she's a girly girl.  With a side of tom-boy.  Notice the pirate hook and knife in her hands along with the fairy wand.
And she is obsessed with being a Doctor.  So cute.
She gives all of her animals "sheck-ups".
And she's a good girl at heart.  She'd really love a little brother or sister but she'll have to content herself with cousin Ezra.

Anytime is dress up time.
And she sure is daddy's little princess.
