DR dress

We've decided we won't buy silly souvenirs on our trips since really what do you do with them when you get back.  So our usual souvenir we look for are soccer jerseys for the boys.  Most every country has a plethora of soccer jerseys so its pretty easy.  In New Zealand we got Rugby jerseys and in the DR I was thinking we could find Baseball jerseys since that's about the only sport they play and they're fanatical about it.  But nope.  It is IMPOSSIBLE to buy baseball jerseys in the DR.  So in the end the boys got no real souvenir but were just as happy to have me let them open a box of legos from my basement stash the morning we got home.
Isla though, got a souvenir.  In fact Taylor spotted it in a store the second day we were there and refused to leave without it.  And I don't mind too much.  It doesn't scream DR, but it's practical and will get used and is very cute and it reminds US of the DR so really that's the best souvenir ever.  (The sweater was my addition since it's 85 in the DR and 35 here in Salt Lake)
So these boys look like they feel left out?  Nope, looks more like they're getting themselves into some trouble.
