Saturday we all headed North to Hill Air Force Base to see their airplanes. Okay so really the adults were more interested in the planes and the kids ran up and down in front of the giant fan.
So no pictures of the actual museum since we didn't spend long walking around roasting in the lack of AC- but plenty of pictures of us hanging at the hands-on center. Isla hanging out with Grandma- too hot to hold but she can hang on her lap.
Apparently not too hot for the kiddos to dress up.
My kids disappeared the second we got there and would have stayed for days. Flight simulators. Cockpits to climb in. Suits to dress up in.
Bizarre helmets to wear.
Yep, looks like he belongs at the moon landing... kind of?
Taylor disappeared too. Wait I already said that right- all my kids disappeared the second we got there and would have stayed for days. Yep, Taylor counts as a kid in this museum. LOVED IT!
Miles didn't quite get the simulators and let's be honest- got pushed out most by the bigger boys (and dads). But he was enthralled with all the science experiments they had. Next time I'm going crazy at home I just need to hand him a ping pong ball and a blow dryer. Who knew?
Most of the moms hung out in the chairs waiting for the boys (big and little) to be done. My dad entertained us with different helmets.
Can't quite decide which is my favorite look on him.
Yep, Miles again with the blow dryer.
And as predicted every computer is occupied by one of the dads. And if you turn the camera to the other side you'd see a few more of the dads attached to a joystick and a computer too. So fun.
After the museum we all headed back to our house for naps, some mommy shopping time, dinner and finally some swimming in the pool. The original plan had been to swim every day of the reunion but we didn't end up at our house on the 4th with the parade and BBQ, then it rained and was chilly Thursday, and Friday everyone was exhausted from all the fun at Snowbird. So we enjoyed the pool Saturday night and then crashed.
