Friday my plan had been to take the kids to Disneyworld solo. But that was when we thought we could get free tickets through a friend so it wouldn't matter how long we stayed. When that fell through, and after a long, exhausting day at Legoland the day before, we opted just to stay at the resort and explore their 2 different play pools. They really were more like playground with giant ships with slides and places to climb on and play.
It was a little chilly for swimming (in my opinion) but the kids were happy to stay for hours and thankfully Ethan stayed with Isla who could walk in the 2 feet deep water, but was still a little concerning to me.
Sadly, he decided to ignore the lifeguard yelling at him to not go UP the slide which turned out to be very slippery and he fell right on his nose and upper lip and was very bloody.
We enjoyed the pools and the quiet hotel room all day and then Taylor joined us that evening for mini golf.
And more time at the splash pad by the pool.
