Adventures at the Denver Airport

Both going and coming from the reunion we had long layovers in the Denver Airport. Our 3 hour layover going there turned into 6 1/2 after our flight got delayed and then coming back we had a 4 hour layover. So after spending over 12 hours there we feel like those adventures merit their own blog post.
Thankfully there were lots of planes and cargo being loaded to watch. There also was a real rabbit down in amongst the cargo that the boys enjoyed watching (and screaming at).
After a week of eating Happy Meals, Ethan had almost the entire set of super heroes and had a great time playing with them.
After a few hours of wandering trying to get Miles to fall asleep, I discovered this fabulous deserted waiting area on the second floor. Lots of space. Lots of plugs for our laptops. Bathrooms. Water fountains. And almost no one else for our kids to bother. Could you ask for more?
Miles especially loved the glass walls where he could people watch.
Ethan loved spreading out with his toys and we were grateful we'd dragged so many toys along since they didn't want to watch movies anymore.
Isaac enjoyed setting up all his zoo animals in a row.
Very proud of his animal parade.
Taylor discovered how to multi-task: playing computer games while holding a sleeping baby.
And when all else fails, a 2-year-old will find a way to turn anything into a soccer ball.
We survived and though our travel days were each VERY long, we were grateful we could visit all our family.
