Lost Christmas

I love how every little device we own seems to have its own camera.  It makes it so easy to capture all the little moments I can't manage to dig out the big camera for.
Poor Ethan.  He somehow manages to get the flu every single time we travel.  It usually just lasts 24 hours and no one else seems to catch it (EVER!) which is weird.  Disneyland at Christmas was no exception.  After 2 fun-filled roller-coaster riding days, he woke up Sunday morning and within 10 minutes was in the bathroom throwing up.  And he did it again while I packed everyone up.  And then twice in the car driving to the airport.  And then twice on the airplane too.  Poor guy.  He looks so miserable.
But he'll tell you it really was worth it.  Saturday afternoon we walked to Downtown Disney so we could go to the Lego Store.  The boys have been begging for months to go to Legoland and being in California so close, but not able to go was very frustrating to them.  So we went to the store and bought a souvenir to make up for that.
I love that my boys love maps.  Doesn't matter where we go, if they're offering a map, they'll take one and spend a lot of time scouring it.  Standing in line reading a map is a great distraction too!
Grandpa loved this picture so much he bought the real copy.  Clint looks happy.  Barb looks tentatively concerned.  Grandpa is holding the bars down with his own arms just in case they malfunction :)  And Ethan is just classic.  Love that kid!  And his enthusiasm!
This is what happens when Miles is bored waiting for the others to finish a ride- he gets handed the iphone and ends up taking pictures of me entertaining Isla.
The 3 in 1 bunk bed truly rocked.
At one of the pizza places in Phoenix, our waitress brought out dough for the kids to play with while we waited for our food.  Genuis!  They rolled and cut it and sculpted just like playdough and the adults got in on it too.  So much better than little crayon packs!
Barb and Ethan trying to balance dough on their noses.
Taylor's siblings came through on presents in a big way.  Legos, legos, legos.  The boys were in heaven.
While we stayed in Grandpa Wally's house in Vegas, our elves made a surprise visit.  They even stole horse beanie babies out of the special cupboard the kids aren't allowed to touch and got caught riding them down the stairs in a race.  Naughty elves!
And just for fun, one night we had Christmas cocoa.  Hot chocolate is a hit anytime in our house, but add a little whipped cream and some colored sprinkles and it's truly a party!
