When you think you have everything under control (the dishes are done, the kids have been fed and dressed, etc.) and then you turn around and see that your 2-year-old decided to turn himself into a member of the Blue Man Group. And incidentally the kitchen table too.

I have learned this much, when you are trying to get the house cleaned and you think you have a handle on things, the kids will undoubtably be upstairs messing up your work. :)
