Guess who surprised everyone by showing up at this year's Ward/Neighborhood Christmas Party. Santa and the Mrs.! My boys were thrilled and actually scarfed down their dinner so they could go see them. Miles knew exactly what he wanted- a truck.
Ethan was a little more shy and couldn't come up with anything.
Isaac instantly burst out that he'd like "a bey round and a cosmic pegasus bey blade". HUH? They both asked. Yep, me too!
Isla wasn't afraid at all which actually surprised me since just a few weeks ago when we had a repairman in our house she literally burst into tears every time he even came in the same room as her. The weird thing was that the second repair man who didn't have a beard had no effect on her. We thought maybe it was men with scary beards. Maybe not though. She actually was really interested in playing with his beard and would have loved to lick it.
My mom was in town to visit us so she came along to enjoy the festivities.
Isla thinks she's pretty fabulous.
And I think they just might be twinners. So cute. My mom and her name sake.
At the end the primary didn't perform a nativity but they did all dress as shepherds and sing everyone a song.
Miles isn't in primary yet so he had no idea what the song was, but when all the kids started congregating in the hallway to get ready, there was no way he was going to miss that and the primary leaders kindly dressed him up as well and let him carry his little light on stage with the big kids.
