Stiches

I don't just immortalize the good moments here, I also admit to the bad.  So one summer afternoon after too many fights and arguments and kids crying I heard Miles start shrieking.  I yelled from upstairs "unless you're bleeding out of your head you better stop screaming!"  Miles meanwhile came running up the stairs with his hand pressed to his forehead, ran up to me, pulled his hand away and started shrieking anew at the sight of blood gushing from his head.
Ok so I guess your screaming was justified.  And now it's time to head to instacare.  After first taking a picture to text to Dad whose out golfing and now needs to rush home to watch your siblings.
Miles is my least favorite child to take to the Dr.  All because he FREAKS out about everything  EVERYTHING.  FREAKS!  Seriously!  Nurse asks to move the towel so she can check.  Freak out! (by this I mean shrieking and wailing and running away)  Nurse needs to apply numbing medicine which is just laying a clear bandage on your head.  Freak out!  Luckily we got the most patient nurse and one smart enough to realize a popsicle in your mouth meant you couldn't shriek anymore and might just distract you.

4 stitches inside and 4 outside and we were all done.  Next time I will wait for Dad to get home and let him take you in!  And maybe next time you won't play "king of the mountain" on a smooth marble table with a brother that is older and bigger than you and of course going to win by pushing you off at which point you will bend forward and slam your head into said marble table.
