A Sunday with the Family

After fun on Saturday and a good, long drive we finally arrived at our beach house in time to... all go to bed.  But bright and early Sunday morning we were all up to.... go to church.... for 3 hours.  Ok so maybe not the best idea with all these cousins.  And then some parents had different views on Sabbath appropriate activities so there was quiet TV watching.
And legos to play with.
Games for the group.

Food for the whole crew of 34+

And finally when even the hold out parents could stand it no longer, we were finally allowed to venture down to the beach, not to swim but at least to play around a little bit.

It started out with some parents suggesting just a "walk" on the beach.
And then we may have been the bad parents who didn't care when our boys started digging.
Clark was too cute pulling his feeties up out of the water.
And then the other kids may have joined in whether their parents approved or not.
And Taylor may have been a bad influence teaching them how to make "drip" castles.

And Isla may have ignored the "just put your feet in the water" statement from the other parents.  And I may not have cared when she soaked herself.
And after just a little bit of fun in my opinion it was back for bed which luckily for these rugrats was in a cousins only room with giant bunkbeds.  Lucky dogs!
