Back to Soccer for Ethan

Ethan got to be on the swim team this summer and since Isaac was old enough for soccer I put him in a little league. Ethan wanted to be in soccer too but I decided that was too much for us. So he's been (not-so)patiently waiting all summer for fall to be here so he could be back in soccer. And lucky for him, Taylor is his coach again with at least half of the team from last year.

He's excited (I'm sure you can't tell :).

Of course Milo thinks he's part of the team too and tries very hard to join the big boys on the field. Luckily I'm still faster than him.

And happily, Sam is still on our team and we love his family. Little Annie is even in Isaac's same preschool this fall so those two have become cute little friends (Isaac has decided Annie is exempted from the I-don't-like-girls rule). So most of the games, Isaac and Annie and Miles and Jane play on the sidelines while I get to watch and chat with the other parents. So nice!

Taylor is LOVING being a coach. It's one more commitment for him with his crazy-busy work schedule and Cub Master duties, but it ensures that twice a week he's spending good quality time with Ethan (and Isaac who acts as goal-keeper/errand boy during practices). Taylor is very cute as a coach. He spent a long time researching the best drills and warm-ups and here they all are doing the same warm-ups that REAL Salt Lake players do.
