Since grandpa has his Disney Club thing we're forced to go to Disneyland once a year. Rough life I tell you. So one random long weekend in September off we jetted. Zombies watching the airport news.
And littler zombies watching the airplanes get loaded. So excited to be off on an adventure with cousins!
Seriously what's better Isaac than cousins team tackling you?
Promptly passed out on the plane.
Friday morning: early breakfast with the creepy forest animals.
And watching old school cartoons on tiny rockers while we wait for everyone to be ready.
Bubbles are so distracting and fun. Let's go!
Mack, Sam, and Aria on Dumbo.
Isla's just barely tall enough to control the lever.
Waiting for Peter Pan.
We cannot wait!!! So excited!
This was the amazing new side of Disneyland we've never experienced before. Isla was finally old enough that some of the girls decided to split from the boys and the big roller coasters to go visit the Princesses. She was in heaven. And I have to say they really make it a magical experience. The princesses are all in individual rooms and you get to go talk to them by yourself. They get down on the child's level and talk to them and compliment their clothes and ask them questions. So magical to see their eyes light up!
Aria, who is only 1 1/2 was not quite convinced.
But Isla was all smiles!
Ethan randomly decided he needed to bring his stuffed lion along for the day in his pocket and it made random appearances.
Waiting (not so) patiently for the Frozen sing along.
Screen shot of the tower of terror.
And of our family on Splash Mountain. Isla did not appreciate being stuck in the front and held in place by dad.
And she could almost not believe who she was finally meeting.
Anna and Elsa... together!!!
And then it was on to all the boys (big boys like Taylor and Mack too) favorite ride- Toy Story.
Taylor patently refuses to ride with any of the younger children that need help on this ride. It is focus time people!
But of course for the Frozen sing-along he was happy to let Isla snuggle up and sing with him.
Aladdin was pretty amazing.
And the cars ride is still my favorite.
For the first time we actually spent a good amount of time in the toddler areas- this is mostly because every other time we've come my 4 little kids have been outnumbered by 10 adults who don't want to bother with this silliness. But now there's 7 kids from 3 of the couples so things are quickly shifting. Bubble magic at the Disney Junior show.
And a break to learn the parade song dance moves.
More Toy Story of course.
And a magical light show to end the day.
