The week before Christmas begins...

Christmas seems to be a time of craziness because everyone wants to make it special by celebrating again and again.  Not to be outdone, our elementary school hosts a family sing-a-long.  I have never gone before because all the parents (and siblings and extended family) are squished into the gym and each grade rotates in for 1 or 2 songs at a time.  The rotating takes as long as the singing.  But since this year I have both Ethan and Isaac there and because my parents were in town, we decided we might as well go.  There's Ethan waving with excitement that I'm finally supporting him.
Ethan was invited to a whole-grade boys-only party.  Lots of fun and chaos.
Luckily grandma Tina and grandpa Pat were happy to stay and watch Isla.
The weather was decent so we scootered and walked up to our local playground and then had the park to ourselves.
Isla is in heaven with all this attention.
Kristina and her family came in on Saturday and while the adults and big boys went to see the Hobbit, we went to the Children's museum.
There were lots of naps to be had.
And my bigger boys may have been a bad influence introducing Evan to computer games.
We decided to stay home this year from any trips with Taylor's family (I have been wanting to do this forever).  We invited my parents and then Kelli and Dana and Clark decided to join and finally even Kristina and Fred and kids decided to drive in from Iowa.  It was a perfectly full Holiday house.
The two girls were the cutest playing princesses and babies together.
And Miles and Evan are the same year so they got along great.
