This year instead of a candy advent we had an activity advent. Each day we had some kind of activity. Some were more fun than others and lots we were going to do anyway (like go to the ward party or deliver neighbor gifts), but it gave the kids something to look forward to each night. One day we had an indoor snowball fight. Pinterest had all sorts of cute snow pails and little snowballs you could sew but since I was short on time, we just dragged a bunch of the boy's socks downstairs and had our own indoor snowball fight. Yep, he looks ready.
