Some Christmases our activities really seem to center around golfing but this year since our little group was just 4 kids and 4 adults, Taylor's dad did a great job of finding fun activities everyone would love. So even though the Arizona Cardinals aren't doing that well this year, it was fun to go as a family and enjoy a little football.
We left plenty early and Taylor's new Google Maps app found up a fabulous short cut past all the crazy traffic so we ended up being super early.Isla of course didn't need her own seat (since she can't even sit up well) but they made us get a "lap pass" to bring her into the stadium. So weird. Didn't cost anything but still.
That's how she felt about that- "that's cool, I'll take a lap pass, and I'll put in right in my mouth".
Ethan was really excited and it was fun to sit beside him and explain the rules of the game to him. He's getting so big and really wants to understand what's going on. It amazes us sometimes what he is paying attention to when we really think he's not listening at all. On our drive down we were stopped at a light and I expressed my frustration to Taylor that I couldn't seem to find a big enough space to turn right on red. Ethan (from the way back of the minivan) pipes up "but it says no turn on red anyways". So it did! Woops! I hadn't even noticed that and this little guy saw it all on his own. There were several of these instances during the trip and it made me laugh to really how big he's getting.
Isaac was Taylor's little buddy and we juggled Miles.
Isla got passed around too but nobody minds holding this little cutie. Mmm, pizza crusts.
We sat in the opposing team's section and there were a LOT of rowdy bears fans. There were 2 fights within 5 rows of us both in front and behind. It was a little bizarre to see adults acting like kids.
Am I posting too many pictures of Isla? I can't help it!
And Grams and Grandpa certainly got their share of holding her.
She grabs just about anything can get her little hands on and then of course it goes right into her mouth.
We especially enjoyed watching one of the players who was Taylor's best friend growing up. He had several good plays and it was fun to cheer on a local Utah boy.
Yep, more Isla.
Okay and cute Isaac too. I'm pretty sure these kids are the cutest on the planet. With all our busy days back in Utah it was nice to have so much fun time to just hang out together.
