We try every year to take our kids to visit my parents at their home in Chicago. We missed last year because of the pregnancy and baby Isla, but we made it this year. Isaac has been talking about Grandma Tina's toys for months and specifically her tiny car race tracks. He wasn't even 4 the last time we went but he sure has a good memory when he wants to. So the first thing we had to do the second we arrived was play with them.
They really are pretty cool, vintage micromachines and these 2 boys were in heaven. Ethan didn't come out with us because he still had 2 days of school. These little boys were troopers on the plane ride and very helpful.Isla was excited to try out all of the new toys too.
So cute sitting up!
No activities needed the first day- we've got plenty of new toys.
And Grandma Tina and Grandpa Pat have a really fun bedtime tradition. The boys pick out a story that Grandpa reads to them and then Grandma Tina pulls out her ipad with primary songs they get to sing along with.
