That's what Isaac and Miles would say if I asked them. Truly my parents pay enough in taxes so they're appreciate that at least some of those funds pay for really cool parks. The park closest to them has this amazing zip line.
Drag the seat up the hill.Climb on with Grandma's help.
And then enjoy the ride!
Isla enjoyed the watching... and the screams of joy.
It's really a pretty long ride down.
Their smiles tell you everything you need to know.
Grandma is ever the fairness guru and didn't want Isla to miss out. She held onto her seat the whole way down and then forgot that when the chain hits the bumper at the end, it often jerks upward. That's exactly what happened with Isla and although she was going very slowly, it startled her and she instantly grabbed onto the rope with both hands. Kind of funny.
And when you're bored of the zip line there's a giant spider web thing.
And swings- finally it's Isla's turn and she's in heaven!
And more swings.
Apparently those grins are plastered on today cause they didn't come off at all.
Isla is a very trusting soul and let Isaac drag her around anywhere he wanted.
Playing pooh sticks.
And trying out all the outdoor exercise equipment stops on the trail around the lake.
And if we weren't having enough fun already, Grandpa joined us after work.
And we all tried out the ridiculous outdoor exercise equipment. Seriously. This is Chicago. It's either bone-chillingly cold outside or sweltering hot but they need all these stair steppers and such that aren't affected by moisture. Bizarre, but fun.
And of course since grandpa missed all the fun, we had to try it all out again.
Plus it's more fun with him since he actually climbs and plays more than mom and Grandma do.
There's the bounce at the end. Hold on tight!
So much fun!
