Ethan's Squid

Ethan is a boy after my own heart.  He LOVES school- the friends, the freedom, and even the learning.  And as he gets older he's getting the chance to do more "grown up" projects.  He was so excited to do his Animal report that he came home every day for 3 straight days and was completely mad when I said we didn't have time to do it.  By the 4th day I gave in and helped him get the thing done.  He was so excited to take it in and share it with his class (it still wasn't due for another 3 weeks :)

He chose the giant squid as his animal and was fascinated enough to do all the research by himself.  He just needed help typing, cutting paper (evenly) and then arranging it on his poster board.  So cute to see him so excited.
