We READ! This seems to be our easiest fall back plan. I'd feel guilty just letting them play the Wii or watch movies, but they're happy just about any time of day to sit down and read- especially if I'm sitting down with them. Have you heard of the Elephant and Piggy book series? We LOVE it! It's our new favorite series. They're right on a beginners reading level and they are HILARIOUS. They're written by Mo Willems. Ethan laughs his head off everytime he reads them and practically has them all memorized now from reading them enough. The best part- he loves them so much he wants to read them to others, including his brothers who eat it up.
