With Ethan back in school the last week of August, Miles and Isaac have had almost a constant chorus of "when does my school start?" going. And the day finally arrived!
Too excited to even focus and smile!
Isaac was more excited this year knowing what to expect. He's back at the McKee Language School and was very excited to earn "fichas" and get "premios" and to big one of the older kids.
He goes every morning for 3 hours and then we come home for lunch and Miles and Isla take naps. This leaves him and I with a few hours of quiet together. Sometimes he just wants to play and sometimes he really wants to do something together. I have all sorts of learning games from my teaching days and he loves doing them. He also spends a half hour doing his Rusty Rosy program (if you're in Utah with an almost pre-kindergartner you need to look it up- totally free- totally fabulous, super fun learning program the State pays for). It's good mommy-Isaac time! And a perfect balance with socializing, playing and learning Spanish in the morning and then a little one-on-one reading and math and fun time in the afternoon.
