Since all the family was in for the reunion, Taylor's brother scheduled his wedding reception for Saturday night. We dressed the boys up in their cute suits again and let them go to town on the amazing food. Isaac wanted nothing more than plate after plate full of plump raspberries.
Miles had to settle for the rolls since I wasn't about to let him get his hands and face and shirt all red from raspberries.
After eating I made them pose for one quick picture...
And then let them run wild around in the grass. They ate and played for an hour and then we took them home to a babysitter and came back to enjoy the party as adults. Yeah!
Because we were so busy with reunion events before the reception, Taylor's parents through a brunch the next morning and BBQ that night for any other friends/family we hadn't spent much time with. It was amazing to see how many friends of Arty traveled great distances to be here with him.
One of Taylor's aunts and some cousins were still in town and lots of Esther's family came too so there were LOTS of people.
My kids didn't mind sharing their backyard with everyone (except that we wouldn't let them ride scooters during the party) and especially loved having their own picnic with Barb and Clint and Oscar.
And after most everyone had left they didn't mind swimming in the pool- okay so they mostly got thrown around by their dad.
Ethan was willing to be thrown anywhere and anyway- even when a few times he landed in a belly flop.
Isaac was not so daring and prefered splashing Taylor's cousins so they'd chase him and tickle him.
